Karoonda Primary Sub-School caters for students in Reception to Year 6.

We believe in building strong foundations for life-long learning. We are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We believe that positive relationships are essential to student success, and we foster connections between students, teachers, and the wider community. By working collaboratively and engaging in connected learning, we empower our students to become resilient leaders who are capable of achieving both personal and academic success.

Reception to Year 6

We understand that learning is a collaborative process, and we actively encourage our students to work together to solve problems and explore new ideas. Through this collaborative approach, our students develop strong communication and teamwork skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.

We believe that connected learning is the key to engaging our students and fostering a love of learning. By connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences, we help our students see the relevance and importance of what they are learning. This approach also helps our students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will be essential to their future success.

To ensure that every child can reach their full potential, we prioritise student goal setting and growth. We believe that each child is unique and has their own set of strengths and challenges. Our teachers are committed to working closely with our students to identify their goals and develop plans to achieve them, celebrating their successes along the way.

Above all, we value student education and believe that it is our responsibility to provide the best possible learning experience for every child, nurturing a love of learning. By working together, we can create a strong foundation for life-long learning that will benefit our students for years to come, unlocking a world of opportunities for our students.
